Accessibility Statement
Prepared: 2 July 2026 · Last reviewed: 2 July 2026
Art Market Research is committed to making its website and services usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. This statement applies to the pages at www.artmarketresearch.com, including the Create-an-Index Service and the AMR Trendline tool.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How accessible this website is
We believe this website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Automated testing currently reports no violations, and the measures below have been implemented. A small number of items are still being verified through manual testing; these are listed under “Known issues and limitations”.
Measures we have taken
- Text and interface colours meet the minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interface components).
- The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, including the interactive chart’s date-range control, which responds to arrow, Page and Home/End keys and offers a click alternative to dragging.
- A visible focus indicator is shown on every interactive element, and a “Skip to content” link is provided at the top of each page.
- Pages use proper landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), a single main heading, and logically nested headings.
- Form fields have associated labels; required fields and errors are identified in text, not by colour alone.
- The sign-in form supports password managers and pasting, so signing in does not rely on memory or a cognitive test.
- The price index chart is accompanied by a data table of the same values, as a text alternative to the visualisation.
- Images have appropriate text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Known issues and limitations
We are aware of, and are working to confirm or resolve, the following:
- Manual screen-reader verification (in progress). Automated checks pass, but a full manual pass with NVDA and VoiceOver across the sign-in → search → configure → download journey is still being completed.
- Zoom and reflow (in progress). The site is responsive; we are completing confirmation of full function at 200% zoom and single-column reflow at 400% (WCAG 1.4.10).
- Small in-chart markers (WCAG 2.5.8). A few decorative markers within the chart may be smaller than the 24×24px target size. They are spaced apart and duplicate information available elsewhere; equivalent information and controls are available at a larger size.
Some third-party or embedded content, and content generated for download (PDF/CSV), may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Where a downloadable figure is not accessible, the same information is available on screen or on request.
Reporting a problem
If you find a part of this website difficult to use, or you need information in a different format (for example, an accessible document or a larger-text version), please contact us and we will do our best to help:
We aim to respond within 5 working days. Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, so we can reproduce and fix the issue.
